Makeup tutorials.. Good or bad Idea??

Been thinking about making some make up tutorials for people like myself who doesn't have the budget for the high end makeup like MAC and Urban Decay.. I use all drugstore/Walmart products. I hate watching tutorials and all they use is shit I cant afford. I have bills to pay HELLO!! So I was wondering if anyone would be interested.. Please leave a comment and let me know! Mmm... Coffee!! Addiction?

Good morning loves! I have come to realize today that I may really have a coffee issue. I can't be fully ready for the day unless I drink at least 3 cups of coffee. Sometimes I will even drink a whole pot or more without even realizing it.. WTH Is this borderline substance abuse? I even have prefrences.. Like in the summer I go for ice coffee like it was freaking water on a desert and in Winter I go for the hot steamy cup of dark deliciousness!! Its getting bad I think lol Do you guys drink coffee like I do?? Plus if you are a smoker like I am isn't it the best thing ever to have that cup of coffee with your morning cig?? I think I may need help

d5100 UNBOXING VIDEO ON THE WAY

So I did pick up my camera last night and played with it quite a bit today. And let me tell you it is insane. There are so many buttons on there I have no idea where to fucking start!! Remeber I am a freaking NOOBie At this. I am learning as I go. I have never had a DSLR before so I figured for people who want to learn with me at a reasonable pace and go thru EVERYTHING!! Hey I will video tape most of it and put up pictures and write some really fucking fantasic blogs as well haha So tomm while Im at work I will get to work on editing the video of the unboxing, through up some pics, and do a test video on the D5100. Just for WARNING!! The unboxing might be tad long and prolly not very good for 2 reasons

1. I was drinking some brewskis at the time.. getting my rage on
2. Im just starting out on making videos
3. it was like 10 at night and i work a fucking 14 hour shift
4. I say UMMM a lot

If its to bad to put up I will just make another one that "kinda" unboxing.. SO stay tuned for a video tomm (hopefully)

Order is Ready for Pickup!!!

Finally got the e-mail that my Camera is finally ready for pickup. To bad I have to work till freaking 8 -8:30 and the store closes at 9!! WTH!! I will be cutting it really close. Wish me luck on that one! But Once I get it home my sweet BF will help me film a unboxing video so I can show you all that I got in my little bundle. And then tomm I will take some test shots and some test video to show you the quality of the images. And then as I learn and go thru the camera myself I will post what I learn or new techniques I will be trying, like Bokeh, water pouring, lighting painting, macro... etc... I will even dedicate full post to the in camera effects with reviews on how they are, provide test shots, and maybe even make a video on how you set them up in your camera. Its really up to you if you want more video or not.. Im pretty sparatic on if I make videos or not.

Nikon D5100 Update

Yup still haven't gotten it yet. When I went and bought my Camera Best Buy told me they would ship in one from a diffrent store so it would be here Asap... Its been 4 days! How long does mail take if it is only traveling about 50 miles store to store??? Im dying here! Im sooo anxious to freaking open it and use it! Its killing me!

Pitbull Love

How many of you think that pitbulls are vicious and only good for fighting/being guard dogs? I hope none of you. I have 3 pitbull of my own at home and let me tell you they are nothing but sweet, caring dogs. Nothing like what the media has made you believe!

For over a hundred years the pit bull was known as the nanny dog. For many many generations if you had children and wanted to keep them safe from harm, You got a pitbull as a babysitter! Here are some facts that make pitbulls not the killers everyone thinks they are....

• In temperance tests (the equivalent of how many times your kid can poke your dog in the eye before it bites him) of all breeds the most tolerant was the Golden Retriever. The second most tolerant was the pit bull
• they are not naturally human aggressive (in fact pit bull puppies prefer human company to their mother’s two weeks before all other dogs)
• they feel as much pain as any other breed

It sickens me to know that roughly 6,000 pitbulls are put down everyday! Its not the breed that has turned vicious it's the owners! I have a god daughter that has been around my pitbulls since she was a new born and not once was I scared to leave her alone with my pits. Im still not even though now she is at the age of annoyance (haha 2 years old) to a dog where she pokes, pinches, and pulls and yet my youngest pit will just lay there and take it no matter what. He will not leave her side, everytime she spends the night since she was born he has slept right next to her crib.

So I ask of you please don't get a pitbull if all you want is a guard dog or something that looks vicious. Get one because you want an amazing family dog that will guard your home and children out of love!

Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2

So I did watch the last movie of the "Twilight Saga" last night. I have read all the books multiple, multiple times. Love them!!! Of course Im a bookworm so I most defiantly think the books are better! Anyways my opinion on the movie. I personally felt like they rushed the whole Breaking Dawn Movies.. I felt like there sould of been 3 of them. They left out so so much yet at the same time the Part 2 seemed to move soooo fast paced it was weird. Now don't get me wrong I like the movies, so much that I told my boyfriend already for my birthday I want the box set once Part 2 comes out on DVD. LOL  What did you guys think? The boyfriend was so kind to watch the last one with me without me even begging lol See ladies I was smart when it came to getting him to watch any Twilight. We got together after the first one came out on DVD and of course I had it becuase I went out and bought it on release day lol. Anyways I never ever asked him to watch it with me even though he knew I liked the movie a lot. So I patiently waited and waited til one night he was like "Do you want to watch Twilight babes?" Ummmm DUHHHHH. After he watched the first one it was super easy to get him to watch the others cuz of course he was kinda curious to know what happened lol

Anyways, yeah I totally felt like they needed to make Breaking Dawn into 3 movies! It just felt squished into a time frame but at the same time leaving out many of important parts. The same kinda goes for Eclipse.. I know I know its a movie and they are always going to leave something out. I get that. I was just a tad disappointe thats all, But still am about to go watch it AGIAN tonight haha

Ugh Hangover!!!

I am losing my touch! I had like 6 beers last night, got super buzzed for one thing which is not like me at all. I can usually drink a lot more before I feel all loopy! And I feel like complete CRAP today after those 6 beers. WTH lol Along with feeling like complete crap I am soo SOO soo tired. I wish I could sleep all day long but nope gotta work. 2 jobs kill me sometimes, I feel like I never get time for nothing. But I have to do what I have to do! What do you guys do to cure a hangover?

A little change..

So I have decided to change the title of my blog. Yes my main focus will be on my D5100 and the photography I learn and what I do with it, but I just felt it kinda limited me on what to blog about as well as limiting my audience! I do like to talk about a lot of things as well as I am interested in a lot of thing. I want to be able to talk about my passion for nail art, wine, nerdy stuff, pitbulls, Etc... So many things lol. I am 25 year old girl with lots of wisdom already. Im not saying that Im wiser than most, just saying I am pretty savvy and clever in life already. I work hard for what I have and I love helping others out and letting them know that no matter what Life throws at you, YOU CAN GET THROUGH IT. Im living proof!

Just an update on my camera.. yeah still waiting.. UGHHHH Im soo impatient! I want it now! On the positive side I did get my other Christmas present last night. WOOT WOOT After waiting in line for 2 hours and braving the crowd last night I was rewarded. Even though this was my first black friday EVER!! And let me tell you it was not fun people are freaking nuts! I felt like it was a drug to some, like they got high off of the chaos.. Yeah Im not going to do it again.. I will just wait it's cool I dont need to get hurt for a thing that I want. Did you go out for black friday?? Was it as nuts where you are? Mind you I dont live in a very big city Its only about 40,000. I just couldnt imagine places like Chicago, LA, New York.. Ahh just thinking about makes me scared lol And I have decided that I will do an Unboxing video when I do get my camera and post that along with some of the very first shots I take from it.

I'm Halfway There!

OK So I was supposed to purchase my camera bundle last night. I decided to go to best buy because around where I live we really don't have camera stores. So thru the whole day I was getting more and more anxious to get there, kept making sure I had enough money, all the bills were paid for the week ( bills have to be paid first before you can have fun right!), Etc.... Well I finally get to the store find the camera person I talked to you last week when I went in to see the prices and what they recommended for cameras. Ooo sorry forgot to mention in my first post that I was stuck between the D3200 and D5100. YAY d5100!! Anyways so I told her yes Im back and ready to purchase I know exactly the one I want and the bundle. I went for this package that was slightly already bundled and some things I threw in.

• Nikon D5100 w/ 18-55 mm Lens $549.99
• Camera bag $69.99 BUT they have a deal now if you purchase the D3200 OR D5100 you recieve the bag free
• 16 GB Class 10 memory card PNY on sale right now for $12.99 Originally $29.99 (I think so but not sure)
• 55-200 mm Lens $249.99 BUT also have a deal with the purcase of either camera again you get $100 off

Ok so I went online and found a bundle they already had set up. It was the camera and the 2 lenses for $699.99 with a 2 year warranty of $119.99 for everything. Ok your probably saying well that doesnt make any sense. WELL I will tell you why I did this... If you go into the store without the bundle I found online printed off you will pay $99.99 for 2 year warranty on JUST the camera body and the 18-55mm Lens. THEN have to pay another $49.99 for 2 year warranty on the 55-200mm lens. SO thats $30 more. I dont know about you guys but Im always a deal finder kind of girl. So of course I dont want to pay more lol So all in all I got a free bag, $100 off the extra lens, $30 off of the warranty, and like $10 off of the memory card because it was on sale. So I saved almost $140 dollars there WOOT WOOT happy dance for me. Anyways back to the purchase. Well I get there all excited, find the girl, tell her what I want, she is looking for my camera and everything I want with it. BOOM not soo happy. THEY RAN OUT OF D5100's!!!!!!!!!! I was like WTF!! They sold their last one earlier that day! Oh man was I pissed and I made sure I showed it to. Mind you I couldnt get there no earlier then 9pm last night due to work and other things. BUT they had a weekly ad out for this so I was all bitchy when I asked why run an ad when you dont have the stock. I mean I know it wasnt her fault but come on. Anyways long story short because I could go on and on about how muc of a dick her supervisor was. All I did get last night was the 55-200mm lens, camera bag, and the memory card. FUSTRATED!! They said they will order the rest and it should be here by tomm or Saturday. So all in all Im still gettting my camera but I just didnt want to wait anymore ya know. Plus I wanted to show it off at Thanksgiving.. Who wouldnt!! lol So I will post more when I do get the rest!!

The lens I did get is amazing looking! hahaha I went right home and unboxed it right away. Had to have some fun with what I got!

First post!!

FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS!

First off let me say thankyou for taking time and interest in this blog. And when I say follow your dreams I mean just that! Let me give a little backround on that. About a month ago I came to the conclusion that I have always wanted to do photography. I have had multiple people including a professional photographer tell me I have an eye for it. This got me thinking and asking myself questions. Did I really love it? Could I see myself doing this for life? If I worked hard could I make it a career? Could I be that good? These questions rolled thru my head. Finally I was like hells yea I could do this. I can push myself to better myself and possibly make a career out of it. ( I say possibly becuase lets get real you never know people! Im being realistic!) Its something I have always loved doing. Im that person that at any occasion that gets up in your shit at all sorts of diffrent angles to get that one amazing picture. As well as I can take 100 photos and not even realize it till I get home. All I was using was a Nikon point and shoot digi compact camera and I knew to jump into the photography world I would need something a little more "professional". So the search was on for my very first DSLR.....



I have finally decided what DSLR I willl be purchasing today! After weeks and weeks of research I have decided to go with the Nikon D5100. I am getting a bundle which comes with the 18-55mm lense and the 50-200mm lense. They are not the best but I figured perfect to start out with. There is a link below to give you information on the type of camera I have chosen.

Now before you go off to the store to chose a camera PLEASE do research on them. Let me tell you all the sales people are goin to do is pitch you the most expensive camera in the store so they can look good for selling a high priced item. Like I said I did tons of research on what I wanted. And thats just it you have to know what you want to photograph. Myself I will be dappling in a little of everything. So your probably wondering what made me buy the Nikon D5100. Well I will tell you! lol

• I coudn't afford the Nikon D7000 or any of the higher end cameras
• I chose a entry level one to learn from, I didnt want to buy something that was totally out of my league
• The Nikon D5100 has the same sensor as the D7000, this was the main thing that won me over
• It will do everything I want to do with it to start off learning
• Its affordable!
• I have read many great reviews on it as well as seen some of the work people have done with this camera

Once again RESEARCH!!! You have to choose a camera thats right for you. Besides any camera you decide to get will be great. From what I have learned so far its not so much the camera but the eye behind it and your LENS!! lol Which I will talk abou lenses down the road once I get it tonight and learn. So the my journey begins as I make the first step into following my dream. There will be lots to learn and lots I will share. I will post pictures of the unboxing or maybe even a video along with some of the very first pictures I take with it.
