The Start of a New and Improved Lifestyle/weight loss Journey..

*Warning*
I am putting myself out there and trying to help other people. All I ask is please dont bring any negativity to my page. AS I dont give a fuck if you have a negative opinion or comment Im just asking that you be a mature adult. Please and thankyou. Have a nice day! And this is kinda of a long blog post but it has TONS of useful info in it! As well the "body" pics as well as stats is form Jan. 1, 2013 the day I started this journey im just a tad late letting you guys see..

OK so on to the good stuff. I know many of you girls and boys as well always always makes the New Years resolution to lose weight and be healthy. Well I myself also make this resolution every year. Im sure many of you know from expierence that we do great for the first couple of weeks and then boom we just give up and make the excuse of well next year I will do it for sure. I have done the same thing year after year after year. Even last year I made the same resolution that I was going to lose the weight and work on myself and be happy about my body! Well I did work hard and tried sOoooOo many diets and did eventually lose 25lbs in about few months.. I am going to put my video on how I did it below...

As I look back on that video and what I did do to lose the weight last year I learned that I wasnt being all that healthy at all. Using pills, restricting my calorie intake to a point where I now know I wasnt gettting everything that I needed. Diets do work BUT for how long?? If your going to go a diet such as the atkins, restrciting calories, restricting fat grams, high protein, weight watchers, etc you have to make it a lifestyle. You just cant go on it for a couple months and then stop because YOU WILL GAIN THE WEIGHT BACK!! I know I gained about 10 lbs back since I stopped. to be honest I did blame it on my extra work hours but it really was myself not making better choices.

Now my opinion about diets... I will say it again YES they do work BUT! you have to stay on them for a lifetime to maintain. You may find that this is the thing for you in whatever diet you may choose and thats awsome do what your comfortable with and what works for you. Myself on the other hand HATE dieting. I feel hunger all the time as well as I feel like Im limited to a certain number of foods and cant eat what I really love. So this year no restricted diet for me! Even tho As I will show you below in another video how my body did change and the weight I lost.

Now here of Jan. 1st, 2013 is my stats and pics of things I hope to be never again!! Remember to be mature adults people!
I absoutly love my curves.. Love my hips.. I would just like the stomach to shrink in but who doesnt right!

I AM GOING TO SHRINK THE POT BELLy

My arms are one area I HATE!! Always have

I Used to have the best booty ever as well as my back but now it has gotten out of control!!

Now my stats....

Height: 5'1" (Dr. tell me for my Heaight I need to be between 110-120 lbs well guess what in reality that is never going to happen and to be honest I dont want to be that small)
Starting weight: 202
Goal weight: Not setting one this year, I am setting the goal of in 6 months for my 26th birthday I will be comfortable enough with my body to rock a bikini in a public setting.. so whatever weight that will be lets do it!! As well as just being healthy
Arms: 15.5 inches
Bust: 44 inches
Waist: 44.5 inches (this made uncomfortable knowing my waist was bigger than my boobies)
Hips: 49.5 inches (I was totally ok with this one :-)
Thighs: 26.5 inches

Now every 2 weeks I am going to weight, measure, and take pictures to document my progress. I feel every 2 weeks is a good enough time to see results and see what I need to change in my plan.. Next body update will be on the 15th.... Yay I cant wait to see how I am doing!

Now my plan for 2013!!!!!!!!!!!
First off my resolution this New Year was to mainly be healthy and lose weight. I decided as well that I was going to start Jan. 1, 2013 none of this bullshit saying oh I will start this day or that day haha I knew if I didnt start the very first day of the year I wasnt going to start at all. My main goal is just feel good inside and out. Be healthy and active and enjoy life and to prove that no matter how hectic or what not you can do what you have always dreamed of!

First week all about food!!!!
In my expierence getting your diet under control is the most difficult in any diet/healthier way of life. So I dedicated the first week to food, just so I could focus on getting things in check and my body used to the changes.
I was no way going on a restricted diet again. I love to cook food to much as well as eat food haha obviously right! As well I live a very hectic lifestyle. So I made the decision that I was going to make healthier choices and watch my portion control. No more counting calories, fat grams, carbs, or measuring out shit... Yes I still do look at the labels just to see what the portion size is and the amount of calories per portion.... Your probably saying "but isnt that the same as doing a restricted calorie diet and measuring food??" Well yes and no.. Example:

Take 2 diffrent brands of soup... you look at the label

  1. One says per serving 100 calories, 2.5 g fat and the is 2 servings in a can
  2. the other says per serving 210 calories, 4 g fat and there is 2 serving in can
Obviously Im going to choose the one with fewer calories per serving... Its very simple to make better choices in the grocery store you just have to take the time to look and read. Im just trying to be smarter and rougly estimate how many calories im actually eating in a day. By no means am writing down every single food and nutritional fact in a food journal, I did that last year and it became sooo tedious. Once again though if thats what you like to do and it works defiantly go for it. Lets go for another example:

Say you made some spaghetti for dinner. In your head your prolly thinking pasta is the devil!!!! Now  Im going to show you what I made the other day and how you can make it Healthier! NOTE: the healthiest way obviously is to make the sauce from scratch but who really has time for that haha

MMMM looks freaking delicous huh!
I just took a jar of sauce that I could find with the lowest calorie and fat and added a whole bunch of veggies, ground turkey, and a small amount of sausage.. and then instead of using regular noodles go for the WHOILE GRAIN or WHEAT.. Now portioning on the noodles what I do is fill the palm of my hand up with noodles and there is my portion size! I find doing this makes it very easy to portion out your food sensibly.. now for the sauce thats a little trickier and to be honest I just guess I dont like a ton of sauce anyways so one scoop is good for me! These you have it eating the food you love but being smart about it! I will post more blogs with tips and recipes in the future to help everyone out! Just a few more tips to leave you with about food... DRINK LOTS OF WATER!!!! Honestly Drink it to the point where you have to pee every 20 mins like a pregnant lady.. your body will get used to it. EAT SNACK.. Yes snacks are great for you as long as they are healthy.. the more time you eat thru the day the more your metabolism works.... JUST KEEP AT IT.... yes you will have a day where you just have to cheat do some reason its going to happen, but guess what its ok its actually good to shock your body and plus you more and likely will feel bad about it which in term will make you work even harder!!!

Now go out there and start making the better choicess!! Remember to look great on the outside you have to feel great on the inside!! Keep looking for week 2 Exercise!! AHHH
